Today's post is showing a wedding card i made, using the Tilda and Edwin wedding couple.
On the front, i matted lilac gingham and a flowery paper onto pearlescent lilac card. Both papers came from the polka doodles pretty sweet cd rom.
The sentiment was writen on the computer and then matted onto the pearlescent card. I also created a corner of lilac and white flowers and added a bead butterfly from a local sewing shop.
I added a heart buckle to the ribbon.
The insert was written up on my insert maker and printed onto ice silver cardstock.
The inside is like a frame, the image is printed onto card, coloured and then stuck, flat, onto the base, before punching out the chosen design onto pearlescent card. For this i used a Martha stewart flower border punch.
The two side borders are stuck on foam tape and then the top and bottom peices are stuck flat in the corners and on foam down the middle, creating a frame.
A beautiful wedding card. Lovely colours
